The Lark Partnership was launched out of resilience, fuelled by passion, and shaped by the belief that estate agency should be built on integrity, not ego.
After nearly two decades in property, I’ve seen first-hand the flaws that continue to hold our industry back; a lack of collaboration, inconsistent standards, and a striking absence of empathy at the very moments clients need it most.
When it comes to estate agents, I probably share many of the frustrations you’ve experienced: the constant discrediting of one another instead of working together; the minimal due diligence applied to agents; and the low bar set for experience. Add to that a lack of commitment and structure around the buying and selling process, which is often the biggest financial decision of our lives. It’s no surprise that these factors continue to lower the overall standard of our industry. But it doesn’t have to be this way.
Property has been my life’s work, and clients my priority, something I’ve committed myself to more deeply than most and often put above everything else. The road to launching The LARK Partnership was far from straightforward, but it was shaped by everything I learned along the way.
I knew I wanted to create a business that reflected my values; purposeful and personal, full of integrity, built on good people and a sense of family, and to prove that you can run a successful business without compromising your principles.
The Lark Partnership reflects that vision; a business that is honest, people-focused, and committed to quality. Estate agency isn’t just about bricks and mortar, it’s about guiding people through some of life’s biggest changes with empathy, transparency, and care.
The LARK Partnership was launched from 17 years’ experience. LARK is more than a name; it carries the initials of three other women as well as my own —
Luan, Anna-leigh, Rebecca, and Karen — They are the ARK in LARK, and they will always be the reason this story and the very first chapter of our business began.
They represent the values at the heart of everything we do, doing the right thing, even when it’s hard, even when it feels impossible, and especially in the moments that test us most. We don’t aim to be the loudest or the biggest. We aim to be the most trusted and trustworthy.
